Frequently asked questions

Have questions about how classes, groups or payments work? Find all the answers here — or you can contact me directly.

Lessons & reservations

  • Lessons are 1:1 online (Google Meet) and we use a shared chessboard on Lichess. Each meeting has clear objectives and a short recap with homework. At the end I send all the material covered in the lesson and what’s needed for homework.
  • You can take your pick! I’m available for lessons from 30 to 120 minutes. I recommend 1 lesson a week for continuity, but if you’re short on time we can arrange it — I’ll meet your needs.
  • Anyone: I work with all age groups, absolute beginners, amateurs, and competitors up to 2000+ Elo.
  • Book from the calendar: Calendly. Timezone is automatic; if you can’t find a slot, write to me.

Payments & policy

  • My rate is €35 per hour. I accept payment via PayPal (marco.lezzerini@outlook.com) and bank transfer: IT88W0760101800001055026015. You can also buy packages. 5 lessons: €165; 10 lessons: €310. For more information, feel free to contact me.
  • Of course. Send your tax information at the time of purchase or by email.
  • Cancellations or reschedules within 24h without penalty. With less notice, write me — we’ll do what we can.

Requirements & material

  • PC or tablet, stable connection, microphone. Chess.com and/or Lichess account and Zoom/Meet. Webcam is optional but useful.
  • Yes: annotated PGNs, studies, PDFs and checklists. Each week you’ll have targeted exercises and a concise follow-up.
  • Italian or English — your choice.
